Now remember-It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

We have been so busy the past several weeks that I haven't had time to post any pictures. In preparation for our Girl's Night Out this Friday, I spent time "fluffing" last night and snapped some shots around the shop. We have sold soooo much that I can't believe how full we are!! And boxes are still coming in!! Plus, I have four artists bring in their jewelry, purses and special painted pieces tomorrow night. I'm still trying to figure out how to fit this all in!!!
Although we have gone through so many of our Lori Mitchell figures, there are still some scattered about. I know next year to order at least twice as many. The never ending learning curve of retail.

I have always wanted to have a porch swing (actually, I would love one inside my house!) and was happy with the way this turned out. It has been fun to display around and seems like everything that goes on it--sells!

We finally got our big shipment of new book titles which make great gifts. In fact, gifts is what it is all about right now. The five big boxes that showed up at the beginning of the week were packed with gift items and more are expected to come in today and tomorrow. Oh, and then more garland and ornaments and....! also have been delivered. Phew!

I had some spare (!) time so made up some labels for old bottles and was happy with how they turned out. I call this my "Captain Kangaroo time". Many of you are too young to have known Captain Kangaroo but others of us may remember the Captain telling us it was time to get out our "Crayolas". Oh!! It was my favorite part of the show!!!

Another "whatsit?" A friend of mine that comes up with the greatest, most unusual items brought this by and I thought it was the best architectural wall art. Can you tell what it is? Besides a conversation piece!!?

Hope you can all make it by for Girls Night Out. It will be a great way to have fun and check off items on your gift list at the same time. I always love seeing familiar faces but I know how busy this time of year is with company Christmas parties, etc. Two regular guests were in yesterday and told me they love to come in to good goods because it "soothes their souls". And these women work in a church!! Go figure!
Best,
Cheri
