Spring.......finally!!!!

We've been opening boxes from several new lines and coming up with some different, unique vintage finds so I wanted to be sure to get some pictures up for you to see.

We are so,so fortunate to have handmade quilts in the store from Suzie, a well known local quilter. They are phenomenal and are priced amazingly. These are, thankfully, not the kind you are going to find at TJ Max. They have been created to be used, machine washed and handed down as heirlooms. I'm thrilled, can you tell? The first picture shows some of Suzie's pillows and gives you an idea of the fabulous fabrics she chooses.

Yum.

Bringing the garden inside.

Faux lavender and hand painted signs from moi.

New candle line for folks that love humor.

Adorable hand silk screened kitchen towels by an artist out of Washington.

Won a box of fun stuff, including a bunch of cool clock faces at a recent auction. These are always a favorite of mine!

Brought these frames in to try out. I liked them because they didn't have the typical sappy, sweet saying that you see everywhere. Nice size, too. 16 x 16 and 20 x 20.
Stop in soon and see what's new!!
Best,
Cheri

Officially, Spring began last Friday. We'll kick off this fabulous season with "pour your own" Mimosas this Saturday (the 28th). And although the weather since has been blustery, we're doin' spring big time at good goods.

From the outside.....

to the inside with tons of new plants & topiaries...

And touches of Easter spread out here....

and there.

Pretty pretties, of course.

Plus several lines on sale at half off to make room for incoming lines!

Hope to see you soon!

Carry on.....

Ha!! I just love this old British poster from WWII to keep a stiff upper lip. This is my new mantra.
And so far, so good as we had our best February to date! A big, HUGE thanks to all of you that support us. And a special nod to all of you that came out for our "Got Optimism" event!!!! What a wild success that was and what a good feeling to benefit the Women & Children"s Alliance, to boot! You're the best.
Now onto the current scene at good goods & co!!!! Spring & upcoming Easter!

Bunnies are starting to hop here and there-lots will be showing up in the next week and should be reproducing up until April 12th. (Those naughty wabbits.)

Shipments have been spread out through the month so there will be something new each time you come in to peruse.

Our interpretation of Spring is all about gardening and fresh colors and new life. Speaking of new life, I'll mention here to keep a look out for our new sweet baby collection coming...? Soon!

Lots of "new" old silver and linens and dishes and....etc. Took me about 2 days to price and blend these treasures into our displays. Love it!

Of course, plenty of the vintage well- loved look we covet.

That's it for now. Thanks were due for helping us do what we do. And! for referring so many of your friends to good goods! That's been something we've been hearing a lot. We're happiest when you're happy. Sappy, but true.
Best,
Cheri

"Got Optimism?" Event!

Here's your invitation to join us on Saturday, February 14. Yes, from 11:00 to 5:00 you get to be our funny Valentine and enjoy what is planned for you. We just can't shake our optimistic feelings and want to share it. If you're feeling optimistic--spread it around. Not feeling optimistic? Well, we understand it can be contagious. (it's a good germ to catch!)

First off, a portion of the day's sales will benefit the Women & Children's Alliance, a safe haven for victims of domestic abuse. For more information click here. I'm so proud to have an organization like this in our community!

Boxes of "old stuff" have been saved especially for this day, new plants and topiaries will show up mid week, along with orders full of perfect Valentine gifts for.... yourself!

Then, you'll want to sign up to win some very cool give-aways.

We have the Idaho Heritage Inn Bed & Breakfast providing a night in their adorable carriage house filled with Victorian antiques. Nestled in the heart of downtown Boise, this gem used to be a former governor's home. I don't know about you, but I'd love to have a nice dinner and enjoy some nightlife before heading back to "my own" cottage a few blocks away. (must put this on my to do list..) You can read more here about the history/amenities of this 1904 home.

Next, a huge basket stuffed with typical good goods "goods" will be given away to some outrageously lucky winner. Are you feeling optimistic enough to win????!!

And-There will be a free gift for each guest that day (while supplies last..!)

Of course, it wouldn't be an event without you, some refreshments (including something-anything-chocolate) and pink mimosas.

It will be a "feel optimistic" day~good companionship, good fun and a good cause.
Please, please stop in and let us spoil you!!
Best always,
Cheri
